  3. Hi Arbielle,

I just checked to see if I’d get to hear a show while home for xmas break. Looks like I’ll miss you, but I did pass your show date on to my friend in Corvallis. Hope that goes well!
Are you around Portland this winter? I’d love to catch up in some Portland-ly haunt of yours. Lets be in touch!

    1. Hey Morgs! We’re playing tomorrow night, actually, if you are around! And otherwise, I’d love to see you while you are here. I’ll be here!

  4. Rachel,
I’ve been a fan of your music from when you had a couple of tracks up on stereofame.com. There was one called “Home” that was really amazing. Where can I find that track again?! I was searching for it online and found that you’re still making music and it’s still awesome as ever, which is great to see!

Hope great things continue to happen for you and your band!

    Your fellow artist and fan,

    1. Hi Minoti!

Wow, what a treat to see your message! Thank you so very much. “Home” can be found on the first album, entitled “What I’m From.” If you click on the “music” tab on this website, you should be able to scroll down to that album.

Thanks again, and I hope all is well for you, too!

      🙂 Rachel, aka Arbielle

  5. Radish,

I was a sixth grader at Sandy River five years ago when you were the soil field instructor there. You probably don’t remember me, but I am grateful that you were apart of my sixth grade experience.

It was, and still is one of the most valuable learning experiences I have ever had — both as a middle schooler and later as a three time Student Leader.

I am currently a soil student leader at Howard. Just this past session, a boy I had on field study said, “I want to come back as a student leader in four years, but I want to teach soil because I want to teach my kids the things you taught me.”

Thank you for pushing me during my week to see the world in a different light. I will always be grateful for that!

Oh and Phi is my soil field instructor at Howard! He was a program leader when I was there at Sandy….

Once again, thank you so much.

    1. Hi Rose! Wow. I am just reading your letter today (I think for the first time??) um 8 years later! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this message! I am deeply touched to hear that you had such a powerful experience at Sandy River–as you can probably tell from the song, the time/place/program meant at least as much to me, too 🙂 Thank you for your service as an SL and inspiring the next generation! ❤ Radish
